HYDERABAD: Two knife-wielding youngsters attacked a woman in her house at Nallakunta and took away 10 tolas gold ornaments during daytime on Tuesday. Krishna (25) and his associate allegedly entered the house of Rukmini Devi (50), who runs a cloth store from her residence around 3.30 p.m. when she was alone. Krishna is the nephew of Balaji Trading Corporation owner Laxminarayana from whom Rukmini Devi used to buy clothes. Krishna first asked Rukmini Devi to give him some saris saying he would pay the money later. She refused saying his uncle told her not to give him any clothes. Then the duo asked for some drinking water. When she went inside, the two youngsters attacked her with knives inflicting multiple injuries, collected gold from the almirah and fled, the Nallakunta Sub-Inspector P. Subbaiah said.
