Row over notice against Chairman ends

BANGALORE:
The controversy over the notice given by the Deputy Leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Legislative Council, Ramachandra Gowda, seeking removal of the Chairman, V.R. Sudarshan, ended when the member withdrew it today.
Mr. Gowda, who had entered into a wordy duel a few days ago over the alleged denial of a chance to him by the Chairman to intervene in debates, had walked out announcing that he would move a motion to remove Mr. Sudarshan from the Chair, displeased over his attitude towards him.He served a notice on July 19.
Speaking to presspersons, Mr. Gowda said:"I withdrew my notice from the Secretary following the establishment of cordial relations between me and the Chairman."
