YSR to visit city, Yanam tomorrow

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy will tour Visakhapatnam and Yanam on Friday, according to an official press release here on Wednesday.

Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy will arrive here by Air Deccan flight at 9.30 a.m. and proceed to Circuit House to meet the officials and non-officials.

He will participate in functions arranged at the Hindustan Shipyard and the Visakhapatnam Port Trust between 11 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. along with the Union Minister for Shipping T.R. Baalu.

Dr. Reddy will lay the keel of a cargo vessel in the shipyard at 11 a.m. and participate as chief guest in a function in the port where Mr. Baalu will inaugurate the west quay VII berth. The Chief Minister leaves for Yanam by helicopter at 3.15 p.m. He will attend programmes in Yanam from 4 p.m. before taking off to Hyderabadin a helicopter at 5 p.m.
