HYDERABAD: Mickey Mouse, Aladdin, Tarzan, Kim Possible and other Walt Disney creations have long endeared themselves to children.

Children never need a reason to enjoy cartoons on television. And now the cartoon Kim Possible is luring children to crack a code and win prizes.

Students of St. Francis High School responded enthusiastically on Wednesday to a demonstration held by Kids Stuff Promos and Events, event managers, to popularise `Code Tod' in the Kim Possible series.

After watching clips from animated movies Tarzan, Aladdin and Kim Possible; seventh and eighth class students participated in games and took home Walt Disney posters and bags.

Exciting games

"I loved the experience and the games are exciting," said Maria Divya, who watches Disney channel everyday. Lakshmi Priya said she is now determined to watch the show, tempted by the exciting prizes.

Wearing the spy goggles distributed at the venue, students tried to crack Code Tod. Kim Possible, an ordinary kid, with the help of her friend Ron Unstoppable and techie Wade is on a mission to save the world from bad guys. To do this, she has to intercept the codes that Drakken, the villain, relays to his cronies to destroy the universe.

And this is where children come into the picture; watching the series till August 12 and helping Kim intercept the code.

More goggles

While 11 lakh goggles are being distributed in schools, another one lakh will be available from Dabur Real Fruit Juice on purchase of a one-litre pack. "No other cartoon or live action programme ever had such games. This is what makes Code Tod special," said K. Seshasaye of Walt Disney, Mumbai.

On intercepting the code, children can send it through SMS, email or post it to Disney Channel. Prizes range from spy cameras, video CD, MP3 players to gaming cell phones and laptops.
