Special Correspondent
CHENNAI:
The Kerala Government on Wednesday lifted the ban on movement of animals and animal products from Tamil Nadu.
(The movement of animals from six districts from Tamil Nadu was banned by the Kerala Government following reports of the outbreak of Anthrax in Theni district.)
According to a Kerala Government notification, the ban had been lifted as authorities in Tamil Nadu had initiated preventive action, including identification of transported animals and carpet vaccination of the animals being transported.
