Course in steel technology

KOLKATA: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, on Monday launched a course in steel technology in association with leading players in the industry to enhance skills of mid-level management professionals. The collaborators in the post graduate course are Tata Steel, SAIL, RINL and Essar, IIT sources said here. The one-year programme would impart training in database management, MIS, ERP, business process engineering, and e-commerce.
