Jockeys fined

HYDERABAD: In the Subhash Chandra Bose Plate Div. II 1200m race, jockey B. Madhu Kumar (Dama Grande) was fined Rs. 1,000 for coming in at about 150 metres, causing severe interference to Rising Tide (M. Jagdale).

In the Kalamaris Plate Div. II 1,200m race, jockey B.V. Krishnan (Triveni Sangam) was fined Rs. 1,000 for using the whip with excessive frequency.

In the Kalmaris Plate Div. I, 1,200m race, jockey R. Laxmi Kanth (Super Star) was fined Rs. 500 for persisting in the use of the whip on the left when his mount was tending to hang in, in the process, crowding and causing interference to The Governor (A. Abhinay) and Abundance (M. Ravi Shanker) at about 200m.

In the Nelston Cup 1,100m race, jockey M. Chauhan (Dancing Butterfly) was fined Rs. 1,000 for shifting out passing the 800m in the process forcing out Balalaika (M. Ravi Shanker).

In the Guntur Plate Div. II, 1,400m race, jockey Rutherford Alford (Heading Glory) was fined Rs. 1,000 for allowing his mount to shift out under use of whip causing severe interference to Basha (S. Shobhan Babu) at about the 400m.
