Triumph of truth

The Supreme Court's upholding of the conviction of the former Punjab Police chief, K.P.S. Gill, in a case of sexual harassment has proved that truth will always triumph.

Kudos to Rupan Deol Bajaj for her perseverance.

The Supreme Court order is welcome but monetary compensation cannot be an effective remedy in such cases. There should be specific laws that deter an individual from invading another's privacy.
