Letters to the Editor
This refers to the article, `Malls of the few, chawls of the many' (July 28). The root of the problem, as the author has rightly said, is the role of multinational companies.
The author overlooks the possibility that one can oppose violence perpetrated by both the police and the workers. The workers may have reason to be angry, but righteous anger cannot justify violence.
I hope the judicial inquiry identifies all the perpetrators of the violence and brings them to justice.
