Luck favours Salem

Salem: The spin of the coin favoured host Salem which booked the quarterfinal berth in the TNCA-Sumeru Soft under-17 cricket tournament for the P.R. Thevar Trophy here on Wednesday.

Nagapattinam DCA (I innings) 318 in 84 overs (Vignesh Pathi 101, Vivek 85, Mustak 51). Salem DCA (I innings) 245 for nine in 87 overs (Saravanan 44, Vinoad 52, Sudharshan six for 47). (Result: Salem wins by spin of the coin).
