Dabur Pharma net up by 23 p.c.

NEW DELHI: The net profit of Dabur Pharma rose by 22.7 per cent, to Rs. 6 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2005 from Rs. 4.90 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year. Sales surged by 24.5 per cent, to Rs. 73.20 crore from Rs. 58.80 crore. A robust growth in overseas markets, with the CIS region and the Asia Pacific region recording the highest growth, contributed to the impressive performance, says a company release.
