BIJAPUR: As many as 16 community halls have been sanctioned under Sampoorna Gram Rojgar Yojana (SGRY) for different villages in Tikota Assembly Constituency. A sum of Rs. 18.3 lakhs has been earmarked for the purpose, according to a press release issued by the local MLA, M.B. Patil. The beneficiary villages are Babaleshwar, Arkeri Lambani Tanda, Arjunagi, Nidoni, Makanapur, Nagathan, Torvi, Ittangihal Aliabad, Rampur, Minchinal, Kotyal, Tidagundi and Ankalagi. Besides, Rs. 14 lakhs has been sanctioned from the MLA's Local Area Development Fund to construct five community halls. Tikota hobli alone has got two community halls.
