NELLORE: Functionaries of the district unit of Andhra Pradesh Revenue Services' Association, who met the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, here at the R & B guest house on Thursday, pleaded that the specification of size of plots allotted to them should be relaxed, enabling all the employees to get 250 square yards on payment of market value. They also wanted provision of five years of service for getting a plot be relaxed as no recruitment has taken place during the period. The Dalit Vidyarthi Sena, in its representation has appealed to the Chief Minister, to take earnest steps to fill all the backlog posts in Government departments and to implement the Supreme Court judgement, scrapping categorisation. In another representation, the district Congress minority wing, complimented the Chief Minister for reserving five per cent of jobs for the community.
