Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Lottery Agents and Sellers' Association has welcomed the Kerala High Court order that upheld the ban imposed on on-line lotteries by the State Government.

In a statement here., State president of the Association R. Sathishkumar and general secretary M.S. Hamid said that the Government should encourage Kerala State Lotteries by redesigning the prize schemes and by giving more benefits to the agents.

The Government should also take the initiative to ensure that the distribution of lottery tickets through district offices is streamlined, they said.
