Naidu to launch civic poll campaign

To participate in road shows, hold meetings with party leaders

KARIMNAGAR: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu would formally kick off the electioneering for the ensuing municipal elections in the district on August 2 and 3 by organising road shows and meetings with party leaders.

According to a press note issued here, Mr. Naidu was scheduled to visit the district on July 28 and 29, but had postponed his tour due to inclement weather. According to the revised schedule: Mr. Naidu will arrive at LMD Guest House here on August 2 at 3 p.m. and later participate in road shows in Karimnagar town and address the party district general body meeting at Padmanayaka Kalyana Mandapam between 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
