HYDERABAD: City Police Commissioner V. Dinesh Reddy has ordered closure of all wine shops and bars in restaurants in several parts of the city on account of Bonalu festival from 6 a.m. on July 31 to 6 a.m. on August 2. Bars in star hotels have been excluded from the closure order. The closure will come into effect in the areas under the following police station limits: Central Zone Abids, Saifabad, Chikkadpally, Narayanguda, Begumbazar, Nampally, Gandhinagar, Ramgopalpet and Musheerabad. East Zone Afzalgunj, Sultanbazar, Malakpet, Chaderghat, Saidabad, Nallakunta, Osmania University, Kachiguda and Amberpet. South Zone Charminar, Hussainialam, Kamatipura, Bahadurpura, Kalapather, Mirchowk, Reinbazar, Dabeerpura, Bhavaninagar, Moghalpura, Chatrinaka, Shahalibanda, Shamsheergunj, Chandrayangutta, Madannapet, Santoshnagar and Kanchanbagh. West Zone Shahinayathgunj, Mangalhat, Habeebnagar, Kulsumpura, Tappachabutra, Langer Houz, Asifnagar, Humayunnagar and Golkonda.
