SP to hear grievances

The Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore Rural District, A. G. Ponn Manickavel, will conduct a grievance meeting for the residents living in all the police station limits coming under the Periyanaickenpalayam sub-division on Friday. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. at the Lions Club Kalyana Mandapam in Periyanaickenpalayam.

Elected office-bearers

The following have been elected office-bearers of the Sree Narayana Mission for 2005-06 at a meeting of the mission held recently: N. Manikandan (chairman), P. Rajakumar (vice-chairman), T. Mahesh Kumar (secretary), T. H. Athulya (joint secretary), C. K. Visakh (treasurer).

Free eye camp

Moses Gnanabaranam Eye Hospital in association with the District Blindness Control Society will conduct a free eye camp on Saturday at Muthur Middle School, near Kinathukkadavu, on Saturday from 9 a.m. and on Sunday at Corporation Primary School (near Bus Stand) at Avarampalayam from 9 a.m.

Assessment

For administrative reasons, the TNEB has not done assessment for July in Manickavasaga Nagar, Lakhsmi Nagar and Indira Nagar distribution areas under the Kavundampalayam section. Hence, the consumers in the above distribution section should pay the same consumption charges as of May for July too.
