MADURAI: `A' zone Greens claimed the Madurai Kamaraj University table tennis title defeating `B' zone Reds 3-1 for its third win in the crucial and last match in the four-team inter-zone league here on Friday. `B' zone Reds finished runner-up, losing only to `A' zone Greens. The results (league): `A' zone Greens bt `B' zone Reds 3-1 (S. Dinesh Babu lost to P.J. Dinesh Babu 5-11, 9-11, 11-9, 5-11; R. Sivakumar bt S.J. Arvind 12-10, 11-6, 11-4; H. Senthil Raja bt P.M. Kumaran 12-10, 11-9, 9-11, 11-3; R. Sivakumar bt P.J. Dinesh Babu 12-10, 11-6, 11-6).
