Santosh, Pampa win

Jamshedpur: Mastering the toughest half marathon course in India, Santosh Kumar Patel of Uttar Pradesh clinched the men's title at the JRD Tata half marathon in a time of 1:08.14s here on Friday.

In the women's race, Pampa Chanda of West Bengal surged ahead to upset defending champion L Aruna Devi. Pampa timed 1:21:34s, while Devi finished runner-up in 1:22:30s. — PTI
