Fourth round of JK Tyre National championship

CHENNAI: Ayub Khan, Gaurav Dalal and Sarosh Hataria grabbed pole position in various categories for the fourth round of the JK Tyre National racing championship to be held at the Irungatukottai track on Sunday.

In the first qualifying for the Esteem category, Ayub Khan grabbed the pole position with a timing of 1:14:483s. Ayub clocked 1:15:195 in the second race to finish on top.

The Formula Maruti category saw Gaurav Dalal with a timing of 1:13:345 take the first place in the first race. Gaurav repeated it in the second race with the fastest lap timing of 1:13:694.

Championship leader Ameya Walavalkar was pushed to third place as Sarosh Hataria and Rayomand Banajee came first and second respectively, in the first qualifying race of the Formula LGB category.
