NAAC team to visit Marthoma College

KOZHIKODE: Marthoma College at Chungathara in Malappuram has spent about Rs. 30 lakhs on academic development activities in the institution.

A team from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), under the University Grants Commission, will be visiting the college on August 2 and 3.

It will assess and grade the academic and academics-related activities of the college, a press release from the Principal says.

The development activities include expansion and computerisation of the library, building a seminar hall, expansion of laboratories, installing of public address system linking the classrooms with the office and providing Internet connectivity to students.

An exhibition, `Marthomex,' was organised on July 7 and 8 for the benefit of expanding the horizon of knowledge of students of areas adjoining the college.
