KITZBUEHEL (Austria): Third-seeded Gaston Gaudio won the Generali Open on Sunday, defeating Fernando Verdasco of Spain 2-6, 6-2, 6-4, 6-4 in a rain-delayed match. Verdasco saved eight match points before the Argentine finally ended the match in the rain. ``I am so, so happy. I was already in the final last year, but failed to win. I wanted to make up for it this time and it worked,'' said Gaudio, who lost to Nicolas Massu in last year's final.
