Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: Continuing his protest against the hike in power tariffs on the third day of his week-long padyatra, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Vijay Goel, accompanied by the party's national vice-president, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, and other party workers passed through the Ballimaran area of the Walled City on Sunday. In a statement, Mr. Goel claimed that his padyatra was wholeheartedly supported by Hindus and Muslims of the Walled City area who have been complaining to him about inflated electricity bills and fast running meters.
