One held for impersonation

CHENNAI:
City police on Saturday evening nabbed a person on charges of impersonation.
According to a release, preliminary investigation revealed that Krishnaswamy Kumar Sastri of Pappireddipatti village, Dharmapuri district, posed as prosecuting officer, Central Vigilance Commission, in the name Ramachandran.
Complaints
He contacted the Agriculture Department Commissioner, Chepauk, and informed him that the Commission had received several complaints against an officer in Dharmapuri district.
Ramachandran also threatened the Commissioner for not taking action against the officer.
But, when the Commissioner verified the bona fide of Ramachandran's report, it was found that the claims were bogus.
He lodged a complaint with the CB CID. whose team nabbed the impersonator at Bangalore. Further investigation is on.
