Capturing the essence of international cuisine

NEW DELHI: Capturing the essence and flavour of international cuisine, the Capital is all set to play host to the 3rd International Food, Drink and Hospitality Exhibition.

The four-day exhibition opens at the sprawling Pragati Maidan here this Tuesday.

To be inaugurated by the Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, Subodh Kant Sahai, the event will see the participation of several countries including Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and UAE besides the Indian states of Punjab, Haryana, Uttaranchal and Jammu and Kashmir.

The exhibition is also supported by major trade associations related to the food and drinks industry in the country and will serve as a perfect platform for launching any food related products by Indian as well as international companies.

Another major focus of the event will be a processed food section that will cover the fast growing processing industry.

The main attraction at the exhibition will be a variety of seafood on offer at the stall set up by the Marine Products Export Development Authority.
