BANGALORE: They are back from Mumbai having done Bangalore proud by emerging winners in an event that required good reflexes, superior brains and memory power. The team comprising of Ajay Kasargod and Debadatta Das Mohapatra from WYSE Technologies in the city won the national finals of "Tata Crucible," the business quiz, which was held recently. They won cash prize of Rs. 2 lakh and gifts such as a digital camera, an air conditioner and gift vouchers. The participants saw healthy and hectic competitions at the national finals with eight teams: Novar India, Nokia, HCL Infinet, Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Vizag Steel, Reniassance Strategic Consultants, Accenture India and the winning team from this city, WYSE Technologies. The competing level was reported to be high, with quizmaster Girit `Pickbrain' Balasubramaniam keeping the audience on the edge of their seats with his sense of humour and interactive style of quizzing. The new format, comprising of visually appealing software-powered rounds, tested "business basics," helped you "Take your pick," urged you to "Think and think again"(for the Tata acronym), judged your "Inside info" and explored the "Tata World." Altogether, an interesting experience for the participants. The quiz was organised in two tracks, one exclusively for the Tata group's companies and the other for non-Tata companies.
