SAIL cuts prices

NEW DELHI: Steel Authority of India (SAIL) on Monday effected a cut in its product prices by 4-8 per cent in keeping with the downtrend and correction in global markets. A SAIL spokesperson, however, said the prices of steel "would start firming up in a lead time of one to one-and-a-half months" after the correction phase.
