A special occasion for Christel House

BANGALORE: The completion of five years in Bangalore was an occasion to celebrate at The Christel House Learning Centre on Saturday.

Over 500 representatives from the community, corporate world and non-governmental organisations were there to join the centre in the celebrations.

Besides the speeches, there was cultural programme by the children. On the menu were Rajasthani dances, song adaptations from "The Sound of Music," and a remix version of the "Pied Piper of Hamlin."

Sudarshan, a former contemporary of President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was the guest of honour.

Christel House programme is made possible through the support of corporates such as ING Vysya Life, 3M, British Airways and RCI besides Royal Goan Beach Club. The Christel House Open is arguably the largest charity golf tournament in the world. Under the Christel House health programme, immunisation to hospitalisation is provided freely by M.S. Ramaiah Medical College teaching hospital.
