Tata Teleservices launches branded mobile phone

CHENNAI: Tata Teleservices, a leading mobile and fixed service provider, has announced the launch of branded mobile phone `Indicom Gem'. The instrument, weighing 70 grams, has been exclusively designed and manufactured for Tata Indicom by Huawei. A special launch offer has been made under which a customer can go for a mobile by paying Rs. 1,999 and getting free talk time worth Rs. 1,500 for calls to local Tata Indicom mobiles, says a company release.
