HELSINKI: The German city of Stuttgart will organise the season-ending World's Athletics Final from 2006-2008 while the World Cup will be held in Athens next year, the IAAF said on Monday. The World Athletics Final will be held in Monte Carlo next month, but the event was looking for a new home in 2006. Stuttgart staged the 1993 World Championships at the Daimler stadium. After hosting the Olympics last year, Athens clinched the right to stage the World Cup a team event held every four years in 2006. The previous World Cup was held in Madrid. ``I am certain that following the success of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2004, Greece will continue its tradition of hosting high-quality and successful sporting events, and will again attract world interest in athletics,'' Greek Sports Minister Giorgos Orfanos said.
