Indian-origin student gets life term

DURBAN: A South African student of Indian origin was on Thursday sentenced to life for kidnapping and murdering a white female student.

Donovan Moodley, 24, shot dead 21-year-old Leigh Matthews even after her family paid him a ransom of 50,000 rand ($ 7,730).
