MOTIHARI: Two traders were shot dead and two injured in separate incidents that sparked off tension here, police said on Thursday. Medicine dealer Anil Kumar Jha and his father Siddheshwar Jha were shot at and critically injured when AK-47 wielding assailants sprayed bullets at them here on Wednesday. Anil was declared brought dead at the Sadar hospital, while his father was rushed to the Patna Medical College and Hospital as his condition deteriorated, sources said. Gauri Prasad Gupta, owner of a departmental shop, was gunned down near Ganja Chowk in the town on Thursday. Tension prevailed in the town following the incidents and most of shops remained closed. Patrolling has been intensified and raids are on to apprehend the culprits, police said.
