NEW DELHI: The Communist Party of India MP, Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy, has been nominated to head the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Labour. Mr. Reddy comes in place of P.K. Vasudevan Nair, who passed away last month.

The Speaker, Somnath Chatterjee, also approved the change of his nomination, a Lok Sabha bulletin said.
