The initiative taken by Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KELSA) to conduct legal literacy classes for second-year degree students of Government and aided arts and science colleges has been well received.
The classes, which began in July, will conclude by August second week.
As many as 140 arts and science colleges are conducting the legal literacy classes, according to U. Sarathchandran, KELSA secretary. Classes are on in nearly 30 colleges in the district.
KELSA has also brought out a booklet containing important laws for the literacy classes.
