MADURAI: It was a simple question and the prize was a return ticket to Mumbai.

The Regional Manager (South) of Air Sahara, V. Duraikkannan, asked an elite gathering to guess the secret behind the airline's success.

Investment, confidence, efficiency, quality service ... were some of the replies from the excited spectators.

As Mr. Duraikkannan kept nodding `nay,' a faint female voice from the back rows said, "Air Sahara's love for its passengers."

Bingo. Kalyani Shanthakumar was congratulated amid applause and told to collect the ticket from the airline's local office anytime she wished to fly to Mumbai.

Mr. Duraikkannan was in Madurai last week to inaugurate the off-line office and hinted that the airliner had plans to operate services on the Madurai-Chennai and Madurai-Bangalore-Mumbai sectors.

He said Air Sahara would introduce flights to Chicago and London by the end of this year.
