Vaccination: cash prizes for women volunteers

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Animal Husbandry Department will give performance-based rewards for women volunteers from self-help groups who participate in the vaccination programme for chicken and ducks against ranikhet disease and duck plague, according to a press release. Three vaccinators who register the highest success rate at the district level, will be given cash prizes of Rs.2,000, Rs.1,000 and Rs.500 each. The performers at the State level will be given Rs.5,000, Rs.3,000 and Rs.2,000 each. — Special Correspondent
