For love of nature
Sainudeen Pattazhy, environmentalist and zoology lecturer at Kollam Sree Narayana College, has been awarded the International Professional Award for 2005 by the Cambridge-based International Biographical Centre (IBC). Sainudeen was formally informed about the award by IBC director general Nicholas Law in a communication dated July 29.
The award is being given for his research studies on red rain, sacred groves, invention of biological control on mosquitoes and other environmental issues. His works will be published in the IBC's range of International Biographical Research books.
