Canara Bank to focus on rural sector

MANGALORE: Canara Bank will focus on credit opportunities in the rural sector particularly agriculture, SSI and other priority sector lendings. Addressing a meeting of the managers of the bank's Mangalore circle on Thursday, General Manager, R. K. Madhukar, urged the managers to take a hard look at the rural sector as it was one of the sectors which fetched reasonable returns.
