Security wing constable `reprimanded'

HYDERABAD:
A security wing constable on duty at the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate office was reportedly reprimanded by the higher-ups for allowing a VIP's gunman, who was carrying a 9 mm pistol, upstairs without checking him.
The VIP, after meeting the Commissioner, pointed out that the security staff at the office reception counter on the ground floor had allowed his gunman upstairs without inspection, it is learnt. Taking serious note of the security lapse, the police officials reportedly chided the security staff and directed them to keep a close watch on all the visitors.
