DRDL scientist's body found in quarters
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD:
The highly decomposed body of a junior scientist of the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) was found in his quarters at Kanchanbagh on Thursday. Police suspect it to be a case of suicide as the body was found hanging.
A suicide note, purportedly written by the scientist Radhakrishna (29), stated that he was ending his life due to personal problems.
Hailing from Nalgonda town, the scientist had been working in the DRDL for over two years. His wife was pregnant and left for delivery a few months ago.
Living alone
Since then, Radhakrishna was living alone in his quarters located on the third floor of the scientist hostel complex, the Kanchanbagh Inspector Riyasath Ali Khan said.
Two other quarters on the floor were vacant. According to him, the scientist had attempted suicide six months ago.
