NEDUMBASSERY: Unruly scenes were witnessed at the airport here on Thursday night as passengers of the Doha-Bahrain-Kozhikode Air-India flight, AI 956, which was diverted to Kochi, protested against the decision to send them to Kozhikode by road. The passengers demanded that they be flown instead. They were, however, pacified by the promise of the airline to drop each of them in their houses. Following this, they agreed to proceed by road.
