A lesson in marketing tourism

THE TOURISM industry in our State is yet to take off in a major way, but we sure can learn from others who have made it. According to the Director, Arun Srivastava, Uttarancha, which has a population of 8.5 million, attracted 14 million tourists, last year. With attractions such as the palaces in Mysore, the wildlife sanctuaries and Jog Falls, we still lag behind.
