Dubai to host Global Village Festival

NEW DELHI: Dubai will host the annual Global Village Festival, an exhibition of arts, crafts and consumer goods, from October 26 to March 3, 2006. The event will promote traditional arts and crafts, textiles, household goods and appliances and cuisine from several countries. The event is also expected to promote cultural exchange, trade and tourism between India and Dubai. More than 45 countries will participate in this exhibition.
