Inflation hits two-year low

NEW DELHI: The rate of inflation for the week ended July 23 slumped to a two-year low at 4.07 per cent against 4.18 per cent in the previous week mainly on account of a fall in the prices of edible items which more than neutralised the spurt in some manufactured products.
