TIRUCHI: A fine all-round display by Raj Babu (43 and three for 15) enabled Urumu Dhanalakshmi College to score a 39-run win over Government Arts College, Karur and sail into the quarter finals at the Bharathidasan University inter-collegiate cricket tournament here on Saturday. The scores: Pre-quarterfinals: Urumu Dhanalakshmi College 154 for five in 25 overs (Raj Babu 43, Gunaseelan 35, Nazeer Ahmed 27) bt Government Arts College, Karur 115 in 24.5 overs (Padmanaban 34, Rajbabu three for 15). Earlier results: Government Arts College, Ariyalur 81 in 22 overs (Kanagaraj three for 16) lost to Government Arts, Karur 82 for six in 18 overs. Nehru Memorial College, Puthanampatti 61 in 21.2 overs (S. Sathish four for 18, Rajbabu three for 6) lost to Urumu Dhanalkshmi College 62 for two in 10.3 overs.
