GULBARGA: A 32-year-old man was washed away in a tributary of the Kagina in Kadehalli in Siddapur taluk on Monday evening. According to the police, the victim, who refused to get into a boat and preferred to walk across the swollen tributary, drowned in the swirling waters. His body has been recovered. This is the first death related to floods in the district, according to official sources.
