Stolen vehicle recovered

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The city police have recovered a car stolen from the house of Vijayakumar in Balaramapuram police station limits on Tuesday morning within hours after it was stolen.

According to a release issued by the City Police Commissioner, the car was chased and seized from the Peroorkada-Vazhayila road during a combing operation conducted by a flying squad in the city.

The driver of the vehicle, however, fled the scene.
