Herschel's Walk

KOCHI: The Kochi Corporation will implement the Herschel's Walk, a project to convert the K.J. Herschel Road in Fort Kochi to a heritage walk, said C.M. Dinesh Mani, Mayor. The Navy will be associating with the pro ject and will take up only some components of the project, he said. The Rs.1.25-crore project is about constructing theme-based spaces along the road. The Navy will beautify and maintain the entrance to their base, INS Dronacharya that lies along the Herschel Road, and will beautify the wall next to the maritime museum entrance by murals that will depict Kerala's maritime history.
