A hero is remembered



HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Former NASSCOM president Dewang Mehta, who was responsible for India's brand positioning on the World IT map, was remembered at an inter-school IT competition organised in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Mehta Vidyalaya in New Delhi on Wedne sday, his birthday. Dewang, who died young, was a BVB alumnus. Over 250 students from 37 schools took part in the competition. Seen here is BVB director J. Veeraraghavan announcing a Dewang Mehta Scholarship instituted by Ritu Raj of Ovation India, w atched by the BVB Principal, G.S. Negi, and the chief guest, British Telecom India Chairman Arun Seth (right).
