The theme for this year is `Kamban Kattum Vizhumangal'

CHENNAI:
The 31st Kamban Vizha will be held at the A.V.M. Rajeswari Thirumana Mandapam in Mylapore on Friday, Rm. Veerappan, president of the Kamban Kazhagam, told mediapersons on Wednesday.
The programme will be inaugurated by Justice P.R. Gokulakrishnan who will unveil the portrait of the late Justice M.M. Ismail. A book by T. Gnanasundaram, `Kambaramayanathil Sahodarathuvam,' will be released on the occasion.
The theme of the programme for this year is `Kamban Kattum Vizhumangal.'
The programmes on August 13 and 14 include several debates and discussions on Kambar's works. Prizes for various oratorical and essay competitions will be distributed. The vice-president of the Kazhagam, K. Rajaram, and M. Saravanan, were also present.
